Central bank speakers dominate

It’s a relatively light data week ahead in the currency markets with the bulk of important data being released today. Throughout the week we will hear from a whole host of board members from the Federal open markets committee (FOMC), the Bank of England (BoE), the European Central Bank (ECB) and other central banks. When these people talk investors do listen and look out for any future hints on monetary policy. If there are big hints towards movement in their countries policies, you will expect the market to react accordingly.

There is also the small matter of the Supreme court ruling into Boris Johnsons’ Prorogation and what decision they came to after the court case last week. 11 of the 12 judges will be back in court from today debating the cases given and a ruling is scheduled to be released to the public at some point this week.
